Skipping on a rope for 3 to 4 times a week does a lot to your thighs and is also a warm up exercise to start up your exercise routine. Start by skipping on alternate legs with your legs slightly bent on the knees. Make sure your back is straight while doing this exercise. After awhile, start jumping on both legs at the same time. As the difficulty of the exercise increases, you will start to have a leaner sexier looking thigh.

The truth is that it is better to drink water, diluted fruit juice, and or green tea as compared to drinking soda, regardless whether they are diet or regular. Both of these soda actually increases kidney and heart disease risk. Not forgetting, some actually contain acids that will erode your tooth enamel and invite cavities. Would you rather have regular fillings on your tooth? Nobody enjoys it, so avoid them.

The answer is Yes and No. Water actually does tame the appetite if it is incorporated into food, such as soup, or a thick drink, (for example the V8 100% Vegetable Juice). It is found that when water is combined into the food, digestion slows down, as explained by Elizabeth Somer, RD, author of 10 Habits That Mess Up a Woman's Diet. That is part of the reason why women is found to prefer chicken-rice soup as compared to chicken-rice casserole with a glass of water.An important exception is that it is sometimes difficult to differentiate hunger from thirst, so if you find yourself having the desire to crave for something, Try drink a big glass of water. Then wait a couple of minutes. You may be surprised to find that maybe that is what your body really wanted.

To lessen the hurtful feelings of being called fat or overweight, we tend to use lesser dreaded and offensive words such as "larger size" and "big" instead of plain "overweight" and "fat". But all you need is just one comment from a friend, a nurse in the local hospital, or your nutritionist to bring home a deep truth. She said, " In my entire life working in this hospital, I have yet to see a fat oriental Chinese lady", referring to the patients she has seen seeking treatment in the government hospital.

This is actually not true that there are no fat oriental Chinese ladies in the world, as fat and overweight are universal issues, it affects all races and cultures, irrespective of their skin and color.
